ZULUTRACKS — SUPPORT FOR WEB TRACKING SERVICES IN ZULUGIS PRODUCTS
ZuluTracks is a program for receiving and processing information from data providers about the status and location of tracking objects.
Tracking objects can be vehicles or mobile devices. Data providers are web services – monitoring systems for moving objects and any other systems that operate using protocols supported by the ZuluTracks program. The current version supports the following monitoring web services:
ZuluTracks allows you to supplement ZuluGIS-based geographic information systems with data on the location and status of mobile objects. Objects can be displayed in a special tracking layer on ZuluServer (current location and routes) or a regular vector layer (current location).
Tracking layer functionality
- Display the location and names of objects on the map in real time.
- Display object routes in a ZuluGIS layer.
- Filter by objects and by date.
- Set individual icons and styles for displaying user tracks: color, style and line thickness.
- Store information about the routes of the tracking layer objects centrally in the database.

- There is no need to independently understand the protocols of web tracking systems.
- It allows you to quickly and easily organize interaction with web services from various developers.
- It allows you to integrate data from different systems and devices into a single information space based on ZuluGIS.
- It is possible to combine tracking objects with routes and location of devices with the ZuluGIS Mobile app.
COMPONENTS OF ZULUTRACKS
ZuluTracks Service
The ZuluTracks Service is installed on a computer that has access to web services of monitoring systems and ZuluGIS (ZuluServer) layers. It works in the background, maintaining a connection with tracking web services, and writes up-to-date data about the current location of tracking objects to the ZuluGIS layer.
ZuluTracks Administrator
The ZuluTracks Administrator is used to manage the ZuluTracks Service and allows users to:
- Configure ZuluTracks Service settings;
- Set parameters for connecting to monitoring services;
- Establish connections between tracking objects and ZuluGIS layers;
- Manage the ZuluTracks Service: start/restart or stop it.
