KEY TEST FOR ZULU 7.0, 8.0 AND 2021 SOFTWARE

To protect Zulu 7.0, 8.0 и 2021 software products, hardware and software protection based on a local or network HASP HL (Sentinel HASP) key is used.

Information about the name and version of software products that are recorded on the protection key can be viewed using the Key Test utility for versions 7.0, 8.0 and 2021(download...).

Additionally, the program allows you to create a C2V configuration file for subsequent remote key update.

KEY DIAGNOSTICS

After starting the program, you need to click Key Information. The list of local and network keys available to the computer will appear in the program window. Key information may be missing if:

Following the key diagnostics, the key ID and information about available licenses are displayed:

  • Hasp Net10 – network key, licenses are available via a local network or the Internet; Hasp Pro – local key, available for the workstation in which the key is installed (the local key cannot work in terminal mode).
  • id: 84599584 – unique key number;
  • ZuluThermo 8.0 Naladka– software license version 8. Other versions may be specified, for example, 7.0, 8.0, 2021. The detailed list of all licenses is available here;
  • ZuluThermo 8.0 Naladka– license for heat network adjustment calculations;
  • id:7– serial number of the license on the key, displayed in the dialog box of the key admin control center http://localhost:1947/_int_/features.html;
  • seats: 1– number of concurrent licenses on the network key that can be simultaneously used by the ZuluThermo adjustment module (not displayed if the key is local);
  • users: 255 – number of simultaneous connections to ZuluServer. Information users: -1 indicates that the network key and key diagnostics are not performed on the computer in which the protection key is mounted.

A detailed description of software protection for Zulu 7.0, 8.0 and 2021 products can be found in Articles and Advice.

KEY TEST FOR ZULU 6.0 AND BELOW

All Zulu 5.2 and 6.0 software products use hardware and software protection based on various modifications of the HASP protection key.

Depending on the design, the key can be connected via the printer port or as a USB device.

Information about software modules available for working with the key can be viewed using the ZuluHaspTest.exe.utility

If after starting the program there is no key number in the HASP ID window, then:

  • the key is not installed,
  • the key driver is not installed,
  • the key is not from our series,
  • or the HASP key emulator has been installed on the computer.

If the key is intended for local protection, the option status next to the name of each software module indicates whether the key can work with this module or not. If the key is a network key, instead of the HASP ID inscription, the NET HASP ID inscription will be displayed. The number of licenses will be displayed in the window next to the name of each software module.

Regardless of the key type, if ZuluServer is protected by it, the corresponding window will display the maximum number of simultaneous connections to the server.

A detailed description of software protection for Zulu 5.2 and 6.0 programs can be found in Articles and Advice
